Supernova Kamnik is a fairly large shopping centre. There are more than three dozen shops in the mall, with categories such as food, fashion, cosmetics, shoes, everything for children, sporting goods, appliances, home goods and accessories. Well-known chains such as Spar, Müller, New Yorker, Deichmann and many others operate here. Supernova Kamnik also has a number of eateries for snacks and relaxation.

History and Concept

The Supernova shopping centre in Kamnik opened in 2011. It was originally called Qlandia. It has become a central shopping destination in the city, attracting not only the residents of Kamnik but also shoppers from surrounding areas. In 2020, the centre was acquired by the Supernova Group, which led to its rebranding, including a refreshed look and changes to some shops.

The concept of the centre aims to be multifunctional and cater to the different needs of a wide range of shoppers. 

Location

The retail park is located close to the city centre of Kamnik. It is conveniently located at the intersection of important transport routes, which makes it easily accessible to residents and tourists from neighbouring towns and districts such as Domžale, Komenda, Menges, Tuhinjska Dolina, Kamniška Bistrica, Vodice, Komenda and as far as Kranj.

The centre is also only 15 minutes away from the motorway exit, offering a magnificent view of the Kamniška-Sawiński Alps

How to get there

 The Supernova Kamnik shopping centre is easily accessible by both public transport and car.

Local bus routes are available in Kamnik that will take you directly to the shopping centre, which is well connected to the main routes of the region. The nearest railway station is a 10-minute walk from Supernova Kamnik, allowing for access by train.

If you are travelling from Ljubljana or other cities, use the A1 motorway and the Domžale exit or use GPS navigation to find the best route. The centre has free parking for 396 spaces, of which 360 are in the underground garage.
